It is the Age of Games in the world of Eliroth. It is two hundred years after the fall of the Ilos Empire and the freezing of Southron. Survivors have since picked up the pieces of a shattered civilation, creating new societies and striving for peace among its provinces. The effort has been mostly successful, though some cultures still harbor hostile tendencies and the wilderness remains a haven for all manner of untamed creatures. It is said that in the areas farthest from civilization lies darkness so great even the night flees from it.
There is much work to be done before the peace-seeking citizens are truly safe. Without empires or kingdoms in place, some think war is inevitable while others do what they can to make this so. Whether or not the provinces of Eliroth can withstand the nature of being to progress as a world of peace remains to be seen, but there are much greater dangers than a lack of diplomacy to worry about…
